My PAWSOME Christmas!

I had such an amazing Christmas! I got to hang out with all these cute faces! I truly do have the best job on the planet!

Meet Sydney and Jackson! Sydney is a shy girl but warms up quickly and Jackson is the polar opposite. I guess it is true that opposites do attract 🙂 They did so well this week with their parents gone!

This is Miss Belle. I was lucky to get to hang with her over Thanksgiving, and even luckier to get 15 days with her in December! She is such a sweat soul and I miss her terribly! I hope to hang with her again soon 🙂

This is Miss Belle’s friend. Not sure what his/her name is, but this was an exciting first for me! Thankfully He did not require petting or feeding from me 🙂 I am sorta scared of spiders!

These to friendly felines are Rambo and Bonita 🙂 I have watched them a handful of times and always enjoy visiting with them. They are defiantly not shy about wanting a heavy petting! Aren’t they adorable?

These two handsome lads are Jake and Jonah. Jonah likes to hide under the bed at first, but gets jealous of all the love Jake is getting so he decides to join us. unfortunately Jake would not stay still and I am not a professional photographer so I could not get a good shot of his beautiful face 😦 I will try later today though 🙂

These LUCKY black cats are Eli and Lacey and yes, Lacey is eating her food and Eli’s. Don’t worry as soon as I caught a pic of her being naughty I let Eli have his food back (for the millionth time hehe) 🙂 They have 2 dog siblings, Hayle and Joey, but they were not left at home this trip. We all defiantly missed them!!

Why I chose to be a Pet Sitter

I would love to say the reason I chose to be a pet sitter was when I was a little girl, animals were my passion and I knew that one day I would be working with them daily but to be honest this is not the case. The truth is in 2009 I was soul searching, finding my way in the world after a divorce and was not sure what I wanted to be when I grew up. Becoming a pet sitter was not planned or expected, I actually landed my first job off of Craigslist! Scary right? I was desperate for a job and well I did love animals so why not reply to this add for a pet sitting company in San Antonio, Tx? After my first job I was hooked. I stayed with this company for a while and eventually decided I would like to be on my own and the rest was history. I can honestly say I love my job and that is the most important aspect of my job. I don’t dread working, well except when its cold and I have to be out first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening, but thankfully I have only worked in the south and have not experienced a true winter LOL 🙂 I am so grateful for each of my clients, they are what makes me successful! I appreciate their need for me and also how much they care about the well being of their furry family members.
